The Promoting Access and Care through Centres of Excellence (PACE) network brings together leading inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) centres from across the country to improve health outcomes, address gaps in care, and develop solutions that can create changes in the public healthcare system.

What is an IBD centre of excellence?
An IBD centre of excellence is a hospital where a group of healthcare providers that specialize in the treatment and management of IBD work as a multidisciplinary team to deliver care.

Launched in 2016, PACE is Canada’s first national network of IBD centres of excellence. Through shared research efforts between the centres, the network finds solutions to improve how Canadians with IBD receive care.
