You're not alone: Kelowna has a vibrant Crohn’s and colitis community, made up of people with inflammatory bowel disease, families, volunteers, and more. Throughout the year, we come together at meetings and events like the Gutsy Walk to share experiences, raise funds and heighten awareness.

There are an estimated 1,300 people with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis in the Kelowna community. We understand the challenges you and your family may be facing – because we face them, too.

Join us for our monthly chapter meeting and information sessions.  We meet the at the Okanagan Public Library, Kelowna Branch from 6:30 - 7:00 PM the third Tuesday of each month.  Each meeting is followed by a guest speaker from 7:00 - 9:00 pm.

Please note we take a break during the months of July, August and December.

Kelowna Chapter Meeting

Please join us for the Kelowna Chapter Meeting from 6:30 - 7:00 pm followed by a guest speaker.

This months guest speaker is Emily Boese, BNatMed

The Kelowna Chapter Meets the third Tuesday of each month.  There are no meetings December, July and August.

These illnesses are much more manageable when the community comes together, shares, and learns from one another. The Crohn's and Colitis Canada chapter meetings are a time for the IBD community to come together to support each other. Our focus is to create awareness of these diseases locally, improve the lives of those living with Crohn's and colitis, to grow our volunteer base and to raise funds to invest in research, patient programs, advocacy and awareness.

The meetings are a time to share experiences and both give and receive support. Time will be set aside during each chapter meeting for networking and discussing topics relevant to living with Crohn's disease and/or ulcerative colitis.

For more information about the Kelowna Chapter please contact Susan Hampton at shampton@crohnsandcolitis.ca or 1-800-513-8202.  We hope you can join us.
